Philip Johnson
An Architectural Life
This is the future site of philipjohnson.org. It is for those interested in the work of architect Philip Johnson and will be edited by Hilary Lewis, the Philip Johnson Scholar of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut.

For over a decade, Hilary Lewis worked as an advisor to and interpreter of Philip Johnson on a wide range of projects. These included urban planning and architectural analysis, books, essays, an exhibition held at the Venice Biennale, and a multi-year collaboration on Johnson's memoirs.

She is the co-author of Philip Johnson: The Architect in His Own Words (Rizzoli), which received the AIA International Achitecture Book Award, and The Architecture of Philip Johnson (Time Warner Book Group).

Lewis was the exhibition curator for the show on Johnson's last years of design, Philip Johnson: Architecture as Art, held  at The Kreeger Museum in Washington, DC (2008).
